ABOUT our founder

Sparky Content was founded by Crystal Wilde, a career journalist and content marketer from England, UK. Having gathered and written stories since she was old enough to hold a pen, Crystal studied Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University before cutting her teeth on a local newspaper in London. When the financial crisis struck in 2008, she packed her bags, moved to Asia. In the subsequent years, Crystal has worked in Thailand, where she managed a team of travel and news writers, providing SEO-optimised content for clients all over the world; in Hong Kong, where she turned two struggling startups into some of the best-loved digital publications in the city; and in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore, where she provided writing, editing and media consultation services for some of the world's biggest publications and brands. Now head-quartered in the UK, Sparky Content includes the likes of Marie Claire, CNN, AFP, Reader's Digest, Nike, Western Union, Live Nation and MasterCard among its clients.
